Rheem Tankless Water Heaters
In 1925, the Rheem Manufacturing Company was founded in Emeryville, California by two brothers. Donald Rheem and Richard Rheem shared a mutual vision of building a brand that consumers could trust in – for generations.
In Rheem’s nearly 100 year history, the brand has developed and produced a wide variety of products, which range from steel shipping containers to musical instruments to gas ranges. Today, the company has evolved to focus solely on the design and production of products for cooling, heating, water heating, spa/pool heating, and commercial refrigeration. It is the only company in the world to do so. Rheem is the single largest producer of water heating products across North America.
My 2017 Rheem Tankless Water Heater Reviews:
In 1980, the brand opened a new facility in Montgomery, Alabama that is primarily focused on producing water heating products. The facility is still there today and has become one of Rheem’s most profitable manufacturing centers. It was from this facility in 2010 that Rheem introduced the world’s first condensing tankless water heater with an integrated heating and water system. It was the first of its kind to be produced by one manufacturer and have one warranty. Rheem is also the parent company of EcoSmart – another popular line of tankless water heaters.
From its humble beginnings, the Rheem brand has grown exponentially. Currently, the company has manufacturing centers in North Carolina, California, Alabama, Texas, Arkansas, Indiana, and Georgia, as well as other locations in Mexico and Canada. Its products are marketed across the world.
